Douglas Munsey, Jr. - President

Director, Business Systems & Analytics at Ki Mobility. Prior to Ki, Douglas helped launch startup sports technology company Varial Surfing Technologies.  Douglas began his career as an investment research associate at Morgan Stanley, working in the medical technology sector.

Douglas received a BBA in Finance, Investment, and Banking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2007.


Tom Whelan - CTO

Founder & President of WoundZoom, a start-up 3D imaging technology company.  Prior to these ventures, Tom was with Sunrise Medical for 16 years in a variety of capacities and divisions; most recently spending 10 years as Vice President, Product Management and prior to that as Product Manager. 

Tom spent 6 years as a Rehab Technology Supplier from 1989 to 1995.  He founded Functional Rehab in Charlotte, NC.  A business he sold to Charlotte Rehabilitation Hospital in 1992 then headed up a joint venture between the Rehab Institute of Michigan and Shugarman Surgical to become the in-house provider for wheelchairs and seating for inpatients.


Daniel Packard – Senior software developer

Daniel is a full-stack software engineer with broad experience in C/C++, C#/.Net, SQL, and all major web technologies. Daniel’s combination of experience in research & development, enterprise software, and product management make him uniquely qualified to bring emerging technologies to market in the field of 3D vision and automated data analysis. 

Prior to joining CRS, Daniel developed a hybrid 2D/3D vision system for warehouse automation.  The system was responsible for detecting size, location, and orientation of boxes in a cluttered warehouse environment.  Daniel was also the lead developer of a project for predictive power station management through vision processing.  The project used weather station tracking data combined with computer vision-based tracking of cloud formations to predict fluctuations in solar power output.

Daniel received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics from Northern Colorado University  and has completed coursework towards a Masters  in Complex Adaptive Systems from Chalmers Technical University.

Patrick Abadi – Senior Software Developer

Mobile, desktop, and cloud software development professional.  Patrick has extensive experience in C/C++/C#/.NET/SQL, mobile and web technologies. Xamarin Consulting Partner & Microsoft Premiere Partner for Windows Store solutions.

Patrick was Founder and CTO of two successful software companies, Implicit Software Solutions and Panoramic Software Inc.  Both companies specialized in creating enterprise and consumer level software with a focus on user experience and design.

Patrick has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Simon Fraser University, British Columbia, Canada.
